Why Participate in San Marcos S.T.E.A.M. 2022?

 

The San Marcos S.T.E.A.M. 2022 event has grown year after year and is poised to be even larger this year.  Last year proved that even cold and rain didn't harm our attendance.  Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics have a place to be celebrated!

 

Preparing our students for the jobs of tomorrow requires our community to take action today.  STEAM education was primarily focused toward computer-related disciplines.  As technology has become a fundamental enabler in almost every business, a STEAM education has a focus on more than technology.  STEAM is critical to our students becoming the leaders of tomorrow.  Participation in STEAM 2022 adds your business to those that are encouraging our students to learn and grow for tomorrow's jobs.  And...It's FREE to participate!

A Successful Exhibit...

​

A successful exhibit has interaction with our kids.  We don't limit participation for companies or organizations that want to showcase how STEAM education translates into a successful productive employee for your workplace. 

 

We have outdoor space (open fields) and breakout rooms available but requests must be reviewed and approved by the STEAM committee before they can be used.  This is not a sales opportunity.  This is an education opportunity.  This is an opportunity for fun with our kids, parents and educators.

Next Steps...

​

Here are some things to remember as an Exhibitor at S.T.E.A.M 2022:

​

  • You will have an 8 ft. table and 2 chairs occupying a 10 ft. x 10 ft. exhibit space

  • You will be provided a purple plastic tablecloth (you can use your own if you have one)

  • You must bring your own extension cord (25 ft) and surge protector

  • We will have a setup time on April 8, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Central Time

  • Doors will open for exhibitors to setup on April 9, 2022 at 7:00 AM Central Time

  • The STEAM Fair starts at 10:00 AM Central Time on April 9, 2022

  • Don't forget to upload your company logo here to be included in our program
